Puff Siege — Privacy Policy

    Last updated: 26 September 2026

    The short version

Your progress, currency, items, settings, display name, and fish avatar stay on your device. Puff Siege has no account or sign-in, and Olaverse Labs runs no server for the game. Google AdMob processes device and ad-interaction data to serve and measure ads. If you make a purchase, Apple handles the payment and RevenueCat records it under an anonymous app user ID. You can decline tracking and still play with non-personalised ads. Reset Progress or deleting the app removes the game data stored on your device.

    1. Who We Are

Puff Siege (bundle identifier puffsiege.app.labs.olaverse) is an iOS game published by Olaverse Labs ("we", "us", or "our"). This policy covers the game only. Our website privacy policy covers olaverse.co.uk separately.

    2. What Stays on Your Device

Puff Siege stores the following information locally on your device. It is not sent to us or to any server of ours:

    • Progress and performance: level progress, stars, scores, statistics, achievements, and your daily-gift streak.
    • Currency and items: Puff Coins, power-ups, and slingshots.
    • Player customisation: your chosen display name and fish avatar.
    • Preferences: your sound, music, and vibration settings.

There is no Puff Siege account, no sign-in, and no player database operated by us. You can erase this local information with Settings → Reset Progress. Deleting the app also removes it all. Because we do not hold a copy, we cannot retrieve or restore local progress for you.

    3. What Leaves Your Device

Although Olaverse Labs does not operate a game server, third-party services included in Puff Siege connect to the internet:

    • Google AdMob serves and measures ads. Google's consent tools are also used where required.
    • RevenueCat helps validate purchases and maintain purchase entitlements.
    • Apple processes App Store payments and may provide crash reports if you have opted to share them through iOS.

These services do not receive your level progress, scores, Puff Coin balance, display name, fish avatar, or settings from us.

    4. Tracking Permission and Ad Consent

Puff Siege uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before allowing AdMob to access the device advertising identifier (IDFA).

    • If you allow tracking, AdMob may access the IDFA and use it to personalise and measure ads across apps and websites.
    • If you decline tracking, the IDFA is not available to the app for tracking and the ads shown in Puff Siege are non-personalised. You can still use the game.
    • You can change the iOS permission under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Players in the UK and EEA are also shown Google's consent form. You can review or change that choice later in Puff Siege under Settings → Ad Privacy Choices.

    5. Advertising

Puff Siege displays banner ads, interstitial ads between levels, and optional rewarded videos. Rewarded videos play only when you choose to watch one in exchange for an in-game reward.

AdMob may collect the advertising ID where tracking permission is granted, IP address, approximate location derived from the IP address, device and operating-system information, ad views and clicks, product interaction, and diagnostic or performance data. The App Store privacy categories for Puff Siege are summarised below:

Google handles this data under the Google Privacy Policy and explains its use of information from partner apps in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

We do not receive this information as a profile identified by your name or email. The game does not request precise location; coarse location is inferred by Google from the IP address used for an ad request.

    6. In-App Purchases

Puff Siege offers Remove Ads, Captain's Bundle, four Puff Coin packs, and the Power-Up Pack. The App Store shows the price and purchase terms before you confirm a purchase.

    • Apple handles the payment. Your card details and other payment information are processed by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not see your card details.
    • RevenueCat manages purchase records. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID, purchase history and receipts, device information, and the IP address used for the request. That ID is not connected by Puff Siege to your name, email address, display name, fish avatar, or advertising identifier. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
    • Purchase restoration and refunds. Restorable purchases can be restored through the app where Apple permits. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

    7. What Puff Siege Does Not Use

    • No account or social login. Puff Siege does not ask for a name, email address, phone number, or sign-in. Your optional display name exists only on your device.
    • No separate analytics SDK. We do not use an analytics service to track your gameplay. AdMob processes ad interaction and performance information for its advertising service as described above.
    • No sensitive device access. Puff Siege does not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, precise location, or health data.
    • No payment details. Apple handles payments.
    • No sale by us. We do not sell or rent information about Puff Siege players.

    8. Your Choices

    • Personalised ads: decline the tracking prompt or disable tracking later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
    • UK and EEA ad consent: review or change your choice under Settings → Ad Privacy Choices in Puff Siege.
    • Optional rewarded ads: do not select the rewarded-video option.
    • Local game data: use Settings → Reset Progress, or delete the app.
    • Google or RevenueCat data: use the privacy links in sections 5 and 6, or email us and we will help direct your request.

    9. Deleting Data

Reset Progress removes the progress and preferences Puff Siege stores locally. Deleting the app removes all Puff Siege data held on the device. There is no account to close and no copy of your local progress on our systems.

Deleting local data does not automatically erase information already held by Google, RevenueCat, or Apple. Their retention and deletion processes are described in their privacy policies. You can also email us at contact@olaverse.co.uk for help with a request. Because RevenueCat records purchases under an anonymous ID, we may need information such as that identifier or an App Store receipt to locate a record.

    10. If You Contact Us

If you email us for support, we receive your email address and whatever information you include in the message. We use it to respond to and manage your request, and we do not add you to a marketing list.

    11. Children

Puff Siege is not directed at children under 13 and is not offered as a Kids Category app. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own systems. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Puff Siege, contact us so we can help. A parent or guardian should supervise in-app purchases and can use Apple's parental controls for purchases and tracking.

    12. Apple Services and Crash Reports

Downloading Puff Siege and making an App Store purchase are transactions with Apple. Apple processes information about downloads and payments under its own privacy policy. If you choose to share analytics and crash reports with app developers in iOS, Apple may provide us with crash information. Puff Siege does not include its own crash-reporting SDK.

    13. Changes to This Policy

If Puff Siege or its data practices change, we will update this policy and revise the date at the top of the page.

    Appendix: Legal Detail

This appendix summarises the same practices using terms commonly used in privacy law.

    A. Controller, Third Parties, and Scope

For UK and EU data-protection purposes, Olaverse Labs is the controller for purchase information made available to us through RevenueCat and for correspondence you send us. You can contact us at contact@olaverse.co.uk. Local game data is processed only on your device and is not under our control.

RevenueCat processes purchase information to provide purchase functionality. Apple is responsible for App Store payments and optional iOS crash sharing. Google processes the information collected through AdMob and its consent tools under Google's policies.

    B. Why Information Is Processed

    • Local game data: used on your device to save your progress, inventory, profile choices, and preferences. We do not receive it.
    • Purchase information: used to complete, validate, and restore purchases and provide the items you bought.
    • Advertising information: used by Google to serve and measure ads. Where consent is legally required, Google's consent form and Apple's tracking permission provide the relevant choices.
    • Support correspondence: used to answer a request you choose to send us.

    C. UK and EEA Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or receive a copy of personal data, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent. For local game data, you exercise control directly with Reset Progress or by deleting the app.

For information we control, email contact@olaverse.co.uk. Purchase records use an anonymous identifier, so we may need that ID or your receipt to find the relevant record. Requests about information controlled by Google, RevenueCat, or Apple may need to be made through their privacy processes.

You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to your local data-protection authority in the EEA.

    D. United States State Privacy Disclosures

    • Information handled through purchases: an anonymous identifier, purchase history and receipts, device information, and IP address.
    • Information handled for advertising: device identifiers where permitted, IP address and coarse location derived from it, device information, advertising data, product interaction, and diagnostic or performance data.
    • Targeted advertising: where you allow tracking, Google may use advertising information for personalised or cross-context behavioural advertising. You can opt out through the controls in section 8.
    • Sensitive information: Puff Siege does not request precise location, health information, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone access.
    • Sale: Olaverse Labs does not sell personal information for money.

To make a privacy request about information we control, email contact@olaverse.co.uk. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

    E. International Processing

Your local Puff Siege data is not transferred to us. Google, RevenueCat, and Apple may process the information described in this policy in countries other than your own, as explained in their privacy policies.

    F. Security and Automated Decisions

Your local game data is protected by the security of your device. Information sent to third-party services is transmitted using their technical safeguards. We do not use Puff Siege data to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Google may personalise ads if you give the required permission and consent, under Google's own policies.
